Nicki Deweese presented a poster entitled How long has it been in the lake? Sediment reveals invasion history of Spiny Water Flea at the ASLO 2019 Aquatic Sciences Meeting in Puerto Rico in February 2019. Deweese is advised by Donn Branstrator.
Brianna Loeks-Johnson received her MS degree in fall 2018. Her thesis was entitled Lakes are Sources of Nitrogen to the Atmosphere: A look at net nitrogen balance in Upper Midwest Lakes. Loeks-johnson will continue her research in the WRS PhD program. Loeks-Johnson is advised by Jim Cotner.
Kaitlin Reinl presented Potential sources of cyanobacteria blooms to the Apostle Islands at the ASLO 2019 Aquatic Sciences Meeting in Puerto Rico in February, 2019. Reinl is advised by Bob Sterner.
