New Water Resources Science Program faculty:
Chanlan Chun, Assistant Professor, Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center, UMD, focuses on the roles of microbes associated with natural and engineering environment.
Carrie Jennings, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Earth Sciences, is a geologist with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Andrew Wickert, Department of Earth Sciences, has joined the Water Resource Sciences faculty. Wickert received his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2014. Wickert investigates ice, water, and landscapes through the past and present: growth and decay of ice sheets and glaciers and their interactions with climate, dynamics of river systems, global sea level variability, and modern hydrologic and Earth-surface processes. He approaches these questions through a combination of field observations, field instrumentation, and numerical modeling.
