USGS/NIWR National Competitive Grants RFP

USGS and NIWR invite applications for the annual National Competitive Grants (104g) program. The program will consider projects on a broad range of topics on improving and enhancing the nation's water supply. Priority areas include water treatment and infrastructure; understanding changes in water quality and quantity; improved methods for estimating water supply; water governance; and water conservation assessment.  Projects may request up to $250,000 in federal funds for projects up to a three year duration, with a 1:1 matching requirement of non-federal to federal funds. Collaboration with USGS scientists is encouraged.  Availability of funds is contingent on federal appropriations for Fiscal 2018.  Full program details and the Request for Proposals are available at the program webpage: https://water.usgs.gov/wrri/national-competitive-grants.php
