Taylor is an Extension Educator in Agricultural Water Quality Protection for the University of Minnesota. Her work includes topics such as nutrient management, water quality issues, soil health and fertility, and agronomic practices that can impact water quality. Her primary focus is education and outreach on the best management practices and alternative management tools that can be used to mitigate nitrate losses from agricultural land in the Central Sands and SW regions of the state. She earned her B.S. in biochemistry from Miami University in Ohio, her M.S. in horticulture and agronomy from the University of California, Davis, and is originally from Bridport, VT.
